Casehardened box lock action with side plates, third fastener, side clips, full coverage floral scroll and game scene engraving of pigeons on the right, quail on the left, and ducks on the underside. With matching engraved trigger guard and break lever, dual triggers, and automatic sliding tang safety. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock and splinter forearm with Anson push button latch, engraved fittings, blank initial oval, and leather wrapped recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech reproofed at "14.0/14.0" (.551/.551) and measured at .558/.557; choke constriction .007/.009; minimum wall thickness .023/.025 inch; drop at comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at heel 2 5/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches; weight 5 lbs. 3 oz.

Very fine. 99% professionally restored, possibly by the factory, blue finish remains with some light handling marks and faint polishing marks. The receiver and locks have 95% vibrant case colors, crisp engraving, and some light silvering around the edges. The wood is also very fine with sharp freshened checkering and rubbed oil finish and some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
