FRANCOTTE MAKER & PATENTEE/LIEGE BELGIUM" on the sides, relief chiseled fences, third fastener, dual triggers, and automatic sliding tang safety. Checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings, Anson style latch, and pistol grip stock with solid rubber recoil pad. Bore and stock measurements (R/L): chambers reproofed at 2 7/8" and measured at 3 1/2"; both bores 9 inches from the breech reproofed at 19.5mm (.768) and measured at .773/.774; chokes .010/.010; drop at comb 2 1/8 inches; drop at heel 3 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches; weight 9 lbs. 12 oz.

Fine. Period retailer nickel plated with areas of dark spotting, mild flaking, light barrel markings, and oxidation on the action. The wood is also good with moderately worn, well-defined checkering, small dings, pitting on the forearm fittings, and added pad. Mechanically very good.
