Receiver manufactured in 1942 and subsequently custom rebarreled. The high quality, professionally made, unmarked octagon barrel is equipped with a beaded blade serrated integral ramp front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The top of the receiver has a Winchester factory oval proof. The bolt has provision for a sight. The forearm and pistol grip stock are checkered. The buttstock has a quick release sling swivel, Winchester hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The period replaced custom barrel and magazine tube retain 98% plus of the blue finish showing minor handling marks. The buttplate has a mixed smooth brown-gray patina. The remaining surfaces retain 95% original Winchester blue finish showing some thinning and high edge wear. The refinished wood is very fine with minor handling evidence and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
