Manufactured in 1948. Hooded, ramped, beaded blade front and adjustable sporting notch rear sights, standard barrel markings, and Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Standard receiver markings with factory drilled and tapped holes for scope bases, absent filler screws. Checkered pistol grip stock with leather sling and checkered blue steel buttplate.

Very fine with 85% plus original blue finish on the barrel, receiver, and floorplate; areas of minor edge wear, scattered surface spotting, and gray patina on the bolt handle. The stock is fine with numerous scattered small dings throughout and dark patina on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
