Manufactured in 1956. Ramped globe front and receiver mounted Lyman 524F Hi-Lo Extension adjustable peep sight, standard maker, model, and caliber markings on the barrel; and Winchester "WP" proofs on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The bolt is numbered to the gun and has a polished body and smooth, blue, round knob handle. Standard detachable box magazine and trigger adjustable for travel and pull. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with black forend cap, raised cheekpiece, blue steel grip cap, checkered blue steel buttplate, and leather sling. Includes Lyman factory box for rear sight.

Very fine with 97% plus original blue finish, traces of light muzzle wear, and handling marks mostly on the bolt handle and magazine catch. The refinished stock is with numerous scattered scratches, sharp checkering, and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
