Manufactured in 1982 as a very limited edition of only 500 produced with this particular shotgun being the 500th and final of the run. Dual white bead sights on the matte, vent rib barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, standard markings and Belgian proofs, and "**/*" (modified/full) marked chokes. The receiver is an attractive coin gray and features full coverage leafy scroll engraving against shaded backgrounds surrounding highly detailed scenes of ducks in flight. Each duck is rendered in fine, detailed, semi-relief gold inlay, and the scenes themselves are bordered with gold wire inlay. The underside is inscribed and gold inlaid "BLACK DUCK ANAS RUBRIPES" and numbered "500 of 500". The right side is signed "G. KOZLOWSKI", and the left is signed "VANDERMISSENG". The trigger guard and tangs are engraved to match with a gold inlaid bust of a duck on the guard. Fancy figured scroll border checkered walnut pistol grip stock and multi-point checkered forearm with matching engraved fittings and skip-line checkered bare butt. With original box. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent overall with 99% plus original blue finish, a few light handling marks, crisp engraving, highly attractive figure and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent. Box is about good with corner and edge wear, some peeling, and remnants of old tape.
