The pistol on pages 45 and 46 of "Die SIG Pistolen" by H.P. Doebeli is serial number 6920 (only one higher than this pistol!) and is described as having been manufactured in 1947 as a 210-6 prototype with a number 3 micrometer adjustable rear sight. Fixed blade front and as mentioned micrometer adjustable rear notch sights, polished blue slide with standard markings, Swiss "cross in shied" marking ahead of the rear sight, bead blasted blue frame, bright finished small parts, "SWISS MADE" marking on left rear of slide, checkered hardwood grips with lanyard loop on the left side of the heel, and heel magazine catch. Includes SIG factory box hand numbered to match the gun, un-numbered 7.65 mm auto conversion barrel and recoil spring, and extra magazine.

Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish, some traces of light edge wear, mild handling marks, and some small scratches. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with corner and edge wear, handling marks, and some staining. Conversion barrel and spring assembly are excellent.
