Manufactured in 1943. The original sights are properly absent, with a Remington "9-43" barrel, "R" marked bolt with properly turned and contoured handle, and the properly offset manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. A parkerized Redfield scope base is mounted with unstaked screws, and the included Weaver M73B1 scope is numbered "21103" on the right side. Desirable full pistol grip stock, with a circled block "P" on the wrist, "crossed cannons" and "FJA" on the left side, green canvas sling and a flat checkered steel buttplate. A pair of leather lens caps are included.

Excellent, with 98% plus original parkerized finish, showing some light handling marks overall. The bolt, barrel bands, and floorplate show 97% plus original blue, with some brown spots and light scratches. The stock is very fine, with two gouges visible on the right side of the pistol grip, a small spot of filler on the right side near the buttplate, and some mild dings and dents. The optics are clear, with minor handling marks on the excellent blued scope body. Mechanically excellent.
