Blade front and flat-top "U" notch rear sights, two-line/two-block address and patent markings on the left side of the slide separated by the Rampant Colt logo, right side marked "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY", "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marking on the right side of the frame over the serial number, and a single "eagle head/S20" inspection mark on the left side of the frame behind the trigger. Long smooth trigger, checkered slide catch, magazine catch, and thumb safety. Wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, and flat smooth mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Full blue barrel with joined "HP" proof on the chamber, and full blue "B" marked magazine. Fitted with modern replacement. double diamond checkered grips. Includes modern craft style box numbered to the gun.

Very fine as professionally restored with 99% of the brushed blue finish remaining, some slightly rounded corners, faint markings, and light handling marks. The grips are near mint with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
