Manufactured in 1943. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block Colt address and patent markings on the left side of the matching serialized slide, divided by the Rampant Colt, and "P" on top. "G.H.D." inspected frame, with "T/VP" and "74" on the trigger guard. "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel. Checkered solid trigger, wide hammer, slide catch and thumb safety, arched mainspring housing and reinforced Colt grips, and a blued "R" marked magazine.

Fine. 85% original parkerized finish remains with some edge wear, cycling marks, surface scratches, and dark spotting overall. The grips are also fine with mostly sharp checkering and mild wear. Mechanically excellent.
