This is a very fine original configuration World War II M1 Carbine made by Standard Products. Blade front sight and "S" marked 2-leaf rear sight, with a "1-44" dated Underwood barrel, Type I barrel band, Standard Products heel plate, flat bolt, "49" operating rod, "S" marked milled trigger guard, "IH" marked hammer, pushbutton safety and "SW" magazine catch. Smooth low wood stock with 2-rivet "S-HB" marked handguard, "S-HB" and "flaming bomb" in the sling cut, oval oiler cut, green canvas sling and a checkered buttplate.

Very fine, with 95% of the original parkerized finish, 90% original blue on the bolt showing a mixed patina on the front sight and mild handling marks overall. The stock is also very fine, with scattered dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
