This is an example of a pre-WWII German Nazi Luger pistol that was manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1935. This was the second year of secret rearmament efforts by Germany while still struggling with the terms of the Treaty of Versailles. The top of the chamber is marked "G" (which signifies 1935), and "S/42" is on the front toggle link. The barrel extension is marked "W/154" and "S|92" followed by an early "stick wing eagle" firing proof on the extension, barrel and breechblock. It has the standard fixed sights and military style numbering on all the various parts. The smaller parts have a straw colored finish. It has heat blued springs, pins and screws and checkered grips. It comes with one unmarked nickel plated magazine with an aluminum base that is stamped "7356/c/W154/Eagle" proof, a takedown tool, and a leather holster that is stamped on the back "DLU/1943/Eagle WaA641" and with P08 in the upper corner.

Excellent with 90% of the blue finish overall, edge and high spot wear, and blue loss on the muzzle area, side plate hump and front of the frame rails. The smaller parts retain 70% of their original straw colors. The grips are in very fine condition with nice distinct checkering on the sides showing a few minor handling marks. The holster is in fine condition with nice complete stitching overall and clear sharp markings on the back. The front of the holster shows scuffing on the high spots, and there is fading of the black finish on the face of the holster.
