Fixed sights, with matching numbers on the slide, barrel, frame and side plate, the one-line Oberndorf address on the left side of the slide, "Cal. 7,65-D.R.P.u.A.P." on the right, the Mauser banner and "eagle/swastika/M" on the left side plate, and "N/3578" on the front strap and "N3580" (two digits away) on the correct replacement magazine base. These markings are typical for a sidearm in the Kriegsmarine inventory, specifically one processed and issued through a depot on the North Sea (or "Nordsee" in German); the very close but non-matching Kriegsmarine inventory numbers on the grip strap and magazine suggest an inadvertent swap during the period of use. Finish is full blue, with checkered wraparound grips. Includes a replacement brown leather 1942 dated Schambach & Co. Nazi Police holster.

Very fine, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing some light spotting, edge wear and handling marks. The grip is very fine, with some mild scratches and dents. Some light scuffs are present on the otherwise very fine holster. Mechanically excellent.
