Description:

Manufactured in Norway in 1945, the Model 1914 is licensed copy of the Colt Model 1911 pistol, the chief difference being in the slide catch, which has an elongated and "dropped" profile, so as to be more easily reached with the thumb. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked "11.25 m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914", serial number, "Crown/K" proof of the Kongsberg factory and a "eagle/WaA84" Waffenamt stamp. The right side of the slide is dated "1945". Matching numbers are present on numerous external parts, as well as the barrel with a set of checkered grips and a correct pattern unmarked loop magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 70% original black phosphate finish remains with areas of high point and edge wear, some scattered dings, and handling marks overall. The grips are very good with well defined checkering, a larger dent on the right panel, small dings, and worn black paint finish. Mechanically excellent.
