An interesting design featuring the barrel and frame as all one piece which was created by Joseph Jacquemart and trademarked in 1911. Jacquemart operated out of Herstal and was registered with the Liege proofhouse from 1908 to 1926. The pistol is marked "LE MONOBLOC' PISTOLET AUTOMATIQUE BREVETE" on the upper left side of the frame with a row of standard Liege proofs on the lower left and matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, and trigger. The grips feature the standard intertwined "JJ" monogram. Includes an extra set of identical grips and an unmarked pocket watch style box.

Very fine, retains 85% plus original blue finish with the balance a bright grey patina, mainly on the edges and high spots, and some scattered very light pitting. The grips are also very good with some minor dings and scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. A rarely encountered pistol that would improve any European pistol collection.
