The Webley Service revolvers were introduced in 1902 and left production at the beginning of WWII. It has a pinned bead style front sight, drift adjustable notch rear sight on the latch, "'W.S.' TARGET MODEL" on the left side of the top strap, grooved barrel lug, ".22" below the groove on the left, "WEBLEY/PATENTS" and the winged bullet trademark on the left side of the frame, checkered grips, a lanyard ring on the butt, and matching full or partial serial numbers on the sleeved barrel lug, cylinder, frame, both grips, and butt. It is not equipped with holster guides. A very similar example that is within the same range is pictured and discussed on paged 138-139 of "Webley Revolvers" by Bruce and Reinhart.

Very fine, 80% plus original blue finish, gray patina on the balance, some light scratches and marks, mostly distinct markings, and mild wear. The grips are fine and have evenly worn checkering, mild scrapes and dings, and minor edge wear. Mechanically excellent.
