Description:

The Webley Government (W.G.) Target Model was introduced in the 1890s. It has a pinned blade front sight, adjustable notch rear sight on the latch, "P. WEBLEY & SON LONDON & BIRMINGHAM" on top of the barrel rib, "'W G' TARGET MODEL" on the left side of the top strap, "ENGLAND" on the left at the breech, "450/455" on the left side of the barrel lug, "862" on the bottom of the barrel lug, "NP." and London proofs, "WEBLEY/PATENTS" ahead of the winged bullet trademark on the left side of the frame, the full serial number on the right side, "450" and "862" on the back of the cylinder, the serial number on the left side of the butt, lanyard ring on the butt, and matching numbered checkered grips.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 60% plus original blue finish, smooth brown patina on the most of the balance, general mild scratches and marks, and mild overall wear. The grips are very good and have moderately worn checkering, mild edge wear, and some scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
