Single bead sight on the period extra barrel (Number 100123) with standard markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and full choke. The receiver is engraved with scenes of game birds and waterfowl in flight with a pair of pigeons on the bolt and four ducks on the left. The barrel is numbered "102227". The scenes are bordered by fine swirling scroll work. Nicely figured checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a serrated hard rubber Marlin buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 7/8 inches; drop at heel 2 5/8 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches. Includes an extra barrel.

Fine. 70% original blue finish remains with areas of edge wear, some light spotting, surface scratches and handling marks overall. The engraving is sharp and detailed. The wood is good with well defined checkering, small dings throughout, some deeper dents on the buttstock, and chipped varnish. Mechanically excellent. Extra barrel is good with 60% original blue finish, cycling marks, and broken off at rear, incomplete forearm.
