Built on a 1942 production Winchester Model 70 action with a sightless, tapered medium-lightweight barrel, standard Winchester markings on the receiver, Buehler one-piece swivel scope base, Lyman adjustable scope, jewelled bolt body and extractor, crossbolt safety on the trigger guard, and smooth polished bolt handle. Smooth, highly figured hardwood thumbhole, pistol grip stock with contrasting forend and grip caps, swept, roll-over cheekpiece, and vented recoil pad.

Very fine as professionally stocked and finished by Harry Lawson Co. with 95% plus blue finish, light handling marks overall, and slight surface scratches. The wood is very good with rich color, attractive grain, dark figure, and small dings and pressure marks. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics.
