Blue, mono-bloc, ported barrels marked "IMPORTER-PERAZZI-U.S.A./ROME-NEW YORK" and "PERAZZI spa-MADE IN BRESCIA-ITALY/12 GA 2 3/4" CHAMBER" with a vent rib, dual bead sights, porting at the muzzles, chambers measured at 2 3/4 inches, automatic ejectors, choke tube system (improved cylinder/improved cylinder installed), and standard Italian proofs on the block. Coin finished box lock action with finely executed banknote style leafy scroll engraving surrounding bulino engraved game bird scenes of partridge on the right, woodcock on the left, and a goose on the underside. The quail scene is signed "GALAEZZI" for Italian Master Engraver Angelo Galaezzi. With matching engraved trigger guard, and break lever, adjustable single non-selective trigger, removable trigger group, and manual sliding tang safety. Highly figured European walnut pistol grip checkered stock and forearm with engraved fittings, and solid rubber Decelerator recoil pad. With Perazzi takedown case, five extra choke tubes, small parts (firing pins and springs), choke tool, stock wrench, and firing pin spring tool. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 2 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches; weight 8 Lbs. 1 Oz.

Excellent with 99% original blue on the barrels, some light marks under the forearm, and small handling marks. The underside and lower edges of the receiver do have some small areas of a darker gray patina with crisp detailed engraving. The wood is also excellent with sharp checkering, just a few small dings, and attractive dark figure. Mechanically excellent. Case is very good with exterior storage marks. Briley chokes (originally fixed).
