Manufactured by Armalite in Costa Mesa, California. This rifle uses a gas operated, piston driven system similar to the FN/FAL rifles. Reliable and robust, intended as an improvement over the standard M-16 gas system. Post front and flip up peep rear sights, three-prong flash hider and bayonet lug with an ambidextrous safety selector. With an Armalite 2.75x20mm scope. "AR-18/ARMALITE" is marked on the pistol grip. Ribbed and ventilated forearm, smooth pistol grip and original Armalite folding buttstock with ribbed buttplate. Magazine absent. With manual.

Excellent. 95% plus original phosphate finish remains with some light scuffs and handling marks. The stock and handguard set have some small scratches and dings but are otherwise excellent. Mechanically excellent, though the dust cover may need some adjustment.
