This set was manufactured in 1990 and one of the last of their respective models to be produced by Colt Industries, Firearms Division before the company re-branded as Colt's Manufacturing Company. The included letter from Colt explains that this set is the ninth to last produced of each model. The gun itself has standard markings and features other than the all blue finish. Each gun includes its original box and hanging tag. This is a wonderful set marking the end of an era in Colt's history.
