Manufactured in 1976. This Python revolver features handsomely executed factory floral scroll engraving from the muzzle to the rear of the frame with deeply incised leafy patterns, fine detail and contrasting punch dot backgrounds. Fitted with a pinned ramp blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights, wide borderless checkered hammer, serrated trigger, full shrouded ejector rod, and standard model and maker markings. The left side of the grip frame is marked "COLT ENG". Fitted with checkered grips with inset gold Colt medallions. Includes a leatherette Colt case with a fitted orange velvet interior. The case includes papers. The accompanying factory letter confirms the "B" engraving and states the revolver was originally part of a consecutive engraved pair with the second gun plated in nickel per the custom shop order.

Near new in case with only minimal light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with a few small dings and general storage marks.
