The back side of each grip panel is period marked with initials in ink. Matching assembly marks are on the grip frame, barrel and cylinder. Fine, retaining 70% thinning original blue finish with the back strap mixed with smooth brown-gray patina. 95% original case colors remain on the hammer. The engraving is crisp. The grips are also fine with a few hairline age cracks, some minor handling marks and attractive color and grain. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good showing typical high spot wear on the interior and minor handling/storage marks.
