Description:

The black leather holster and cartridge box and the brass buckle have the oval "US" emblem. The U.S. Model 1881 holster has the two holes which allow it to be used with either a Colt Single Action Army or a Smith & Wesson Schofield. The belt is roughly 35 inches long not including the buckle and has "D.C.L." and "A.H." inspection markings and a hand marked "D" on the loops. The cartridge box has twenty canvas cartridge loops and "D.C.L." and "J.McD" inspection marks.

Rating Definition:

Fair with crackling, some small holes and tears, flaking, reinforced holster toe, aged patina on the brass, crack in the buckle hook, and general wear appropriate to their age. These would pair excellently with a U.S. issued Colt Single Action Army or Smith & Wesson Schofield revolver.
