Description:

Manufactured in 1875. One of only approximately 2,150 with the five shot cylinder, it is often known as the "Jim Fisk Model" as it was used in the murder of the famous New York stockbroker. It has the two-line Hartford barrel address between Maltese crosses, patent date marked in the frame sighting groove and matching numbers on the butt, both grip panels in ink, and the barrel.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 70% bright original high polish blue finish with the balance mostly a plum brown patina with some bright grey at the muzzle and traces of original silver finish with the balance an attractive antique brass patina. The grips are very fine with most of the varnish and some light wear and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
