Description:

Manufactured by the James Rodgers firm of Sheffield, England. The overall length with blade extended is 9 1/8 inches and the blade is 4 1/8 inches. The left ricasso is marked what appears to be "J crown R" and "JAMES/RODGERS/SHEFFIELD". The grips are smooth pearl scales with a German silver insert on the left and the guard and pommel are German silver featuring floral motifs. It has a spring loaded lockback spine.

Rating Definition:

Very good, the blade is mostly bright polished with a very faint speckling of surface spotting and one small spot of the brown patina, and the German silver shows an attractive antique patina overall. The grips are very fine with some light wear. The lockback allows for some slight play in the blade when locked but otherwise functions appropriately.
