Manufactured in 1985 with standard markings as well as "SHOW GUN" faintly stamped on the right of the barrel at the front of the ejector rod housing and beautiful grade "C" factory floral scroll engraving. The right grip panel has a carved steer head and both panels are marked "III" on the inside. The included factory letter lists the revolver as a Colt 1985 Las Vegas Factory Firearms Auction Official Colt Show Gun. It confirms the caliber, 7 1/2 inch barrel, nickel finish, grips listed as walnut but upgraded since, grade "C" engraving, and shipment to Las Vegas on 2 February 1985. It goes on to state that this revolver was auctioned at that show which was held in the Sahara Hotel.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original nickel finish with only the slightest handling marks and faint traces of a cylinder drag line. The grips have a few scattered light handling marks and some faint age cracks in the butt of each panel. Mechanically excellent.
