Coin finished receiver features full coverage tight, floral and scroll engraving against shaded backgrounds, and the side plates feature detailed game bird scenes of woodcock on the right and pheasants on the left with standard maker and model markings on the underside. The trigger plate is inscribed "Bottega C. Giovanelli" for the Giovanelli engraving studio in Gardone, Italy. With a gold washed single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Attractively figured walnut, checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with blank initial oval and solid recoil pad. The 28 gauge barrel set is numbered to the gun with 2 3/4 inch chambers, choke tube system (modified/modified installed), independent forearm, and matching gold inlaid "2" at the breech end of the rib. With factory takedown case with two extra choke tubes, choke tool, and oil. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Excellent overall with 99% original blue finish, some light handling marks, crisp, detailed engraving, crisp checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent. Second barrel is also excellent. Case is good with numerous scuffs and scratches on the exterior.
