This rifle was manufactured in 1947, and features a full octagon barrel with dovetail front sight and adjustable rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "22 SHORT" along with the other standard markings. It has the 17 groove forearm and plain pistol grip stock with a blue checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent with 97% plus of the original bright blue finish, showing scattered light handling marks, as well as areas of cycling wear on the barrel and magazine tube where the wood slide handle makes contact during normal operation. The wood is also excellent, with very small scattered handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
