Manufactured/assembled in the late 1930s with the standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, and "WRF" on the front of the receiver. Fitted with dovetailed beaded blade front and elevation adjustable notch rear sights, and mounted with a twelve-groove slide handle and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Excellent, retains 90% plus bright original blue finish with some light cycling wear and a few areas on the bottom of the receiver and lower tang thinned to a smooth brown patina. The wood is very fine with some scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
