This is an excellent example of a fully automatic M2 "Ma-Deuce" Heavy Barrel 50 cal Browning Machine Gun manufactured by the RAMO company of Nashville, Tennessee. The original GI model was developed by John Browning in the late 1920s, and "the BMG" has been used in nearly every major battle by U.S. forces and countless allies throughout the post-WWI time frame. It has been used on numerous vehicles, armored personal carriers, tanks and aircraft. It is regularly seen in news reels from the Middle East conflict. This is a newly manufactured RAMO commercial model with their commercial parts. The side plate is marked "SER. NO.003805/ MACHINE GUN CAL. 50 M-2/MANUFACTURED BY/RAMO MANUFACTURING INC./NASHVILLE, TN. /USA" over their "Elephant" logo. This is a fully automatic, M2 50 cal, machine gun with heavy barrel. It comes with an commercial/unmarked steel M3 type tripod finished in green paint with a pintle attached to the gun and a traverse & elevation (T&E) mechanism and a barrel mounted flash hider. It also includes a ton of additional equipment that includes, approximately 90 boxes of ammunition links (900 total), approximately 340 rounds of 1956 dated, boxed yellow tipped 50 cal ammunition manufactured by ARMERIA F.A.R.D., two additional ammunition cans full of US GI (TW 1954) dated red/silver tipped trace-incendiary linked ammunition (approximately 150-170 rounds), one can of approximately 50 rounds of linked, yellow tipped ammunition headstamped R-D 50, three field manuals and a linker/delinker mechanism.

Excellent with 98% of the original parkerized finish overall with minor edge and high spot wear showing signs of light firing. The various accessories are all in excellent condition.
