Description:

This is an excellent example of a scarce pre-World War II PPK pistol with the desirable "verchromt" or matte chrome finish. This finish was applied to a very limited number of PPK and PP pistols during the 1930s, with some being exported throughout Europe and to the United States. The pistols with this finish are found in the 785,000-185,000K serial number range. This example has standard markings including "crown/N" proofs on the right side of the slide, chamber, and barrel at the muzzle. Fixed sights, 90 degree safety, and fitted with a checkered one-piece mottled brown Walther banner grip. Includes one total chromed magazine and a black leather holster ink marked under the flap for a PPK containing a wooden dummy magazine.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retains 99% original verchromt finish with some scattered light scratches and a few light dings along the top left of the slide. The grips have a few light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is also excellent with minimal wear.
