Manufactured late in the war and using a number of wartime expedient components, and a dull gray phosphate finish as opposed to the Mauser military blue. Hooded blade front and adjustable tangent rear sights, stamped mid and front barrel bands without a bayonet lug on the front band, standard markings and proofs on the barrel and receiver, stamped trigger guard assembly and floorplate, and matching partial serial number "0512" on the bolt handle and shroud. Laminated pistol grip stock with a faint Waffenamt stamp on the right side, and cupped steel buttplate.

Excellent with 95% original gray phosphate finish, areas of light spotting and some brown patina, and handling marks overall. The stock is also excellent with scattered dings, legible markings, and some gap visible around the stock inlet as is typical of late war crude production practices. Mechanically excellent.
