Fixed sights, with matching numbers on the slide, barrel, frame and side plate, the one-line Oberndorf address on the left side of the slide, "Cal. 7,65-D.R.P.u.A.P." on the right, the Mauser banner and "eagle/swastika/M" on the left side plate, and "N/7147" on the front strap and matching number on the magazine base. These markings are typical for a sidearm in the Kriegsmarine inventory, specifically one processed and issued through a depot on the North Sea (or "Nordsee" in German). Finish is full blue, with checkered wraparound grips. Includes brown leather J.M. Eckhart holster dated "1938" with "eagle/swastika/M" Kriegsmarine marking under the closure flap and matching property numbered "N7147/X" (the "x" laying sideways, like examples known) extra magazine. The serial number and property number does put this pistol within the range listed on page 171 of "Axis Pistols" by Jan C. Still.

Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish, distinct markings, light handling marks, and some small traces of edge wear. The grips are also excellent with some small dings. Mechanically excellent. Holster is very good with small scuffs, some loose stitching, and repaired belt loop.
