Manufactured from 1898 to 1907. The revolver features fine Oscar Young factory floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background and gold plated finish over silver plating. The trigger is casehardened, and the barrel latch and trigger guard are blued. The 6 inch extra barrel is engraved and finished to match and is numbered to the gun. The cylinder and 4 1/2 inch barrel are also numbered to the gun. It is fitted with S&W medallion pearl grips. The accompanying factory letter states that this revolver was part of a special order for two units shipped engraved, gold plated finish and pearl grips. The revolver was shipped on March 27, 1906 and delivered to H.H. Valentine (unknown address).

Fine. The revolver retains 40% original gold plating and 98% plus of the silver backing. 95% original blue finish remains on the trigger guard and barrel latch. 50% original case colors remain on the trigger. The engraving is crisp. The grips are excellent with minimal handling marks and high attractive fiery colors. Mechanically excellent.
