Manufactured in 1902. Blade front and folding ladder rear sight graduated from "1" to "4" on the left side and "4" to "20" on the polished face, standard markings on the oil-quenched receiver, blue finished barrel and barrel bands, nitre blue extractor, and bright bolt with knurled cocking piece. Smooth straight grip stock with grasping grooves, "50" and circled script "P" behind the trigger guard, boxed "JSA/1902" inspection cartouche on the left side of the wrist, brown leather Chicago Belting Company sling, and a smooth, blue steel trapdoor buttplate with cleaning rod. Included with the rifle is a slip-on brass muzzle protector.

Excellent with 95% plus original blue and oil quenched finishes overall, noticeable bright spot wear visible on the bottom of trigger guard, and spotting on the bolt handle. The stock is also excellent with a very crisp cartouche, and some small dings and pressure marks, and light chipping at the toe. Mechanically excellent.
