Manufactured in 1903 with standard markings and features including matching serial numbers. Only 16,402 were manufactured in this caliber compared to 150,683 in .45 Colt and 64,389 in .44-40 Winchester.

Very good plus, retains nearly 30% original blue finish and traces of original case colors and pattern with the balance a smooth grey patina with some scattered patches of very light pitting. The slightly oversized later production replacement grips are also fine with some light dings and scratches, the right panel slightly warped, and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
