Manufactured in 2001 with standard markings as well as class "D" expert level factory engraving by John Adams Sr. and a bison head carved grip. The included factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length, nickel finish, one piece grip with carve buffalo head motif, class "D" scroll engraving by John Adams Sr., and shipment to Cherry's Sporting Goods in Greensboro, North Carolina on 26 February 2002. The letter goes on to say that the revolver was displayed at the 2001 Colt Collectors Association Show and 2002 Shot Show. Includes the original shipping box and a Colt blue box.

Excellent overall as masterfully embellished by John Adams Sr., retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with only the slightest handling marks and crisp engraving. The grip has a few light scratches and crisp carving. Mechanically excellent. The boxes are very good with some mild wear and minor tears on the shipping box.
