Measuring 27 1/8 inches when assembled, this is an original Henry Rifle cleaning rod, which breaks down into four sections for storage in a buttstock compartment. A set of three male/female threaded iron ferrules are secured at the joints with pins, one end having a flat tip and the other having cut grooves for use with a cleaning patch.

Fine, showing a mottled grey-brown patina on the iron ferrules and the wood showing some minor dings and scratches and a couple hairline cracks in one of the middle sections. A rare piece that is very often absent from Henry Rifles!
