The included factory letter confirms the current configuration, other than the stocks ("Not Listed") and the engraving (completed later), when it shipped to Davis Gun Shop of Falls Church, Virginia on April 30, 1962. The William Mains letter confirms the subsequent masterful engraving done in 1970. The engraving is about 40% coverage (similar to factory class "B") fine floral scroll in the style of Mains' work for the Colt factory. Includes a hardwood display case.
