Manufactured in 1903. Features a Lyman beaded blade front sight, the two-line address and "44 W.C.F." on top of the #1 barrel, a rear sight filler block, Marble tang peep sight, and a smooth Schnabel forearm and straight grip stock with ebony insert in the top and a curved rifle buttplate.

Fine with 60% plus original blue finish, fading primarily at the edges of the frame and on the buttplate, some light oxidation, and mild marks and scratches. The refinished wood is also very good and has light scrapes and dings, strong glossy finish, and minor edge wear. Mechanically fine.
