Description:

Manufactured in 1915. The 14 inch barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent marking, two-line nickel steel marking, and "32 W.S." on the left. Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, and three-line model/trademark on the upper tang. Fitted with pinned Sheard beaded blade front and elevation adjustable notch rear sights, and a saddle ring mounted to the left of the receiver. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. Accompanied by a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives listing this carbine as being removed from the NFA (National Firearms Act) and classified as a curio and relic (dated 13 November 1981).

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 50% plus original blue finish, mostly on the barrel and magazine, with the balance mostly a smooth grey patina. The wood is also fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Brandhorst Collection.
