This attractive Deluxe Model 1892 rifle was manufactured in 1911 and has the following desirable special order features: part octagon barrel, short "button" magazine, and deluxe forearm and pistol grip stock with style H checkering. It also features blade and adjustable sporting sights, the two-line address and patent marking on the upper left flat, "32 W.C.F." on the upper left at the breech, the "WP" proof on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech, the three-line model and trademark marking on the upper tang, and the standard steel forearm cap and buttplate.

Fine with 90% factory refurbished quality blue finish, crisp markings, loss mainly on the edges of the frame (faint "WP" proof on chamber) and the tangs, smooth light brown or gray patina where the finish has faded, and some light scratches and marks. The wood is also fine and has nearly all of the original glossy varnish, crisp checkering, light scratches, a couple sections of mild dings on the right side, and particularly attractive figure on the left side of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. Special order Model 1892s, especially those with multiple special order features including nicely figured deluxe wood, are seldom encountered.
