Manufactured by the Moore's Patent Firearms Company circa 1864 to 1870, this all silver plated front loading revolver features about 25% coverage Nimschke-style floral scroll engraving on the frame. The top of the barrel is marked with the Moore's one-line address, and the cylinder is marked with the D. William's one-line patent date. Both grip panels are numbered to the gun. Includes a scarce original Moore's Patent Firearms Co. box featuring an illustration of one of these engraved revolvers on the green lid label and instructions.

Excellent, retaining 90% plus original silver plating with most of the lost contained to the high edges and back strap. The grips are also excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box and instructions are fair with old tape repairs.
