Manufactured in 1992 and subsequently masterfully embellished by Weldon Bledsoe, a former student of the legendary Cole Agee, who innovated the "cattle brand" style of engraving. This revolver shows the typical Texas style of those two well-known engravers with the almost 100% coverage cattle brand logos, floral scroll, and punch dot background engraving. The back strap has the inscription: "ENGRAVED ESPECIALLY FOR DICK STAFF/BY WELDON BLEDSOE." The engraving is signed with Bledsoe's mark very discreetly on the right side of the frame and also bears the "2 Lazy 2 P" brand that is very typical of his work. The bone grip panels each feature a high relief carved eagle. Included is a letter dated 1 June, 1993 from Bledsoe listing the revolver by serial number and stating that is was one of the last guns that he would be engraving.

Very fine as masterfully embellished by Weldon Bledsoe and retains 98% gold plating with some mild thinning at the edges. The grips are very fine with typical hairline age cracks and crisp carving overall. Mechanically excellent.
