The receiver is fully engraved with leafy scroll, and features finely detailed game scenes of roe deer on the right and a red deer stag and hind on the left. The trigger guard and tangs are engraved to match. Checkered pistol grip stock and forearm with engraved fittings, raised cheekpiece, capercaillie scene engraved cartridge trap, and serrated horn buttplate. With black painted hardwood case with brass fittings. Case contains six 2 1/2 inch 16 gauge shotgun shells, five round 9.3x72R ammunition, two snap caps, braided leather sling, and cleaning rod. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .674/.673; minimum wall thickness .017/.019; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 9/16 inches; length of pull 14 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 95% refinished blue on the barrels, some areas of mild pitting under the blue, thin brown patina, surface scratches, and the rib is separated at the front scope base to the rear sight. The receiver has an overall silvered patina with some darker spotting, and well defined engraving. The wood is also fine with an added copper pin near the tip of the forearm, dings and scratches, and areas of smoothed checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is about good with poorly replaced lining, numerous scratches and dings on the exterior, and dark patina on the fittings.
