The barrel is marked "J. P. SMITHSON GUNMAKER" behind the rear sight and a German proof near the caliber marking . Mounted in a very nicely figured English walnut stock with fluer-de-lis style checkering and a contrasting forend cap. Topped with a Swarovski Z3 3-9x36mm scope.

Excellent as professionally built, retaining 99% blue finish with minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with a few small dents and scratches and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope optics are sharp.
