The receiver was manufactured in 1978 and subsequently professionally upgraded by Dowtin Gun Works of Whitefish, Montana. The barrel is marked ".270 Win" on the left and "D Gw/Lt. S.S. Sporter" on the right at the breech, and the serial number is on the bottom left edge of the receiver. The receiver, scope rings, grip cap, barrel band, and front sight ramp all feature fine English style floral scroll. Fitted with a ramped blade front sight and a dovetailed two-leaf rear sight on the quarter rib. It is also fitted with an included Swarovski 6x36A Habicht scope. Mounted with a finely figured multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a shadowline cheek piece and leather wrapped solid recoil pad.

Excellent overall as professionally upgraded, retains 99% blue and casehardened finishes with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp engraving. The wood has a few scattered light handling marks, the recoil pad is slightly misaligned, and crisp checkering. The firing pin appears to be dropping as the lever is returned to battery, otherwise the action cycles properly. The scope optics are clear.
