Blue steel barrels with a wide trap style, matte vent rib inscribed "KARL HAUPTMANN-FERLACH", chambers marked and measured at 2 3/4 inches, modified/improved modified chokes, single steel bead sight, standard Austrian proofs, light gold inlay at the breech, and Connecticut Shotgun Mfg. import marking on the lower barrel under the forearm. Coin finished action and side plates with single non-selective gold plated trigger and manual sliding tang safety. The action and locks feature full coverage, tight, detailed scroll and floral bouquet engraving with matching engraved tangs, and trigger guard. The trigger plate is signed "J Deflorian" for Austrian Master Engraver Joachim Deflorian, to the right of the trigger. Extra fancy European walnut, checkered pistol grip stock with dark mineral lines, extensive, highly attractive burl figure, engraved fittings and skeleton steel grip cap with gold inlaid "H" monogram, and rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: Bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .720/.720; choke constriction .018/.029 ; minimum wall thickness .029/.026; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 1/16 inches; length of pull 14 5/8 inches.

Excellent overall with 99% original blue finish on the barrels, crisp , detailed engraving, sharp checkering, intense, highly attractive burl figure on the wood, and a few small dings on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
